Executive Chairman
Dr. Abrams has more than 25 years of successful drug discovery and development experience. He was involved in the discovery and development of Mozobil, a stem cell mobilizer used for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in cancer patients, and Cardiolite, Bristol-Myers Squibb technetium-99m heart-imaging agent, the largest selling radiopharmaceutical in the world. He is currently CEO of Inimex Pharmaceuticals, a company focused on innate immune regulators, and was co-founder and CEO of AnorMED, which was acquired by Genzyme for $580 million in 2006. |

Mr. Collings has an extensive background in business planning, financial analysis, management and administration. He is a co-founder and principal of ACM Advisors Ltd., a provider of fixed income investment solutions and commercial mortgage financing in the Canadian real estate marketplace since 1992. ACM Advisors Ltd. now has over $1 billion of assets under management. Mr. Collings was also a co-founder (1987) and principal of ACM Properties Ltd., a commercial real estate development and property management company, and it's related group of investment companies, all of which were sold in 2004-05 for $250 million. |

Dr. Fisher is a physician scientist with a distinguished career in both academia and industry spanning over 30 years. He is the CEO of Margaux Biologics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on next generation activated Protein C therapeutics. Prior to joining industry, Dr. Fisher served as Professor and Head of Critical Care Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic. He has held senior executive positions at Eli Lilly, Abbott and Cardiome Pharma where he led the teams that developed and registered: Xigris, the first drug approved for the treatment of sepsis; Humira, the first fully humanized anti-TNF monoclonal antibody for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis; and Brinavess (vernakalant), a novel, first in class, multi-ion channel drug for atrial fibrillation. He has also served as a member of the Defense Science Research Council and on numerous DARPA panels. |

Mr. Kendall has over 25 years of operational management, entrepreneurial, venture capital investment and leadership experience, the majority of which has been focused on company creation and building value in technology and biotechnology companies. Formerly a life science venture capitalist with MDS Capital and Intersouth Partners, he also lectures at the Segal Graduate School of business, Simon Fraser University. |

Dr. Pimstone is a co-founder, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a clinical genetics-based drug discovery and development company engaged in developing small molecule therapies focusing in the areas of pain, cardiometabolic disease, and diseases of iron metabolism. He presently serves as the Chair of the Providence Healthcare Research Trust. A widely published author and sought-after speaker, Dr. Pimstone was named in the Globe & Mail’s Canadian Top 40 Under 40 Award. |

Dr. Reiner is an internationally recognized authority on host-pathogen interactions. He is a Professor and Research Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital, where he was formerly the longstanding Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases. In addition, Dr. Reiner also serves as Director of the Immunity and Infection Research Centre of the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. |

Dr. Scannon is Founder, Executive VP, Chief Medical Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of XOMA. As Chief Medical Officer, he heads the clinical research programs and has evaluated several classes of biologic compounds and conducting clinical studies for infectious, oncologic and immunologic indications. He has served or is serving on the boards of several companies and institutions, and is currently a member of the DSRC (Defense Sciences Research Council), an advisory board for DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and also a member of the Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Advisory Committee (TRAC), where he is Chair of the ChemBioWarfare Defense Panel. |

Dr. White has nearly four decades of experience in antimicrobial drug discovery and development. He was formerly Chief Scientific Officer at Vicuron, an antibiotic company where he played an important role in the in licensing and development of Dalbavancin and Anidulafungin. The company was acquired by Pfizer for $1.9 billion in 2005. Prior to this Dr. White was Vice President of Infectious Disease Discovery at Bristol-Myers Squibb for 12 years where he was involved in the discovery and development of cephalosporins Cefepime and Cefprozil, and the AIDS drugs Didanosine and Zerit. He has served and currently serves on the board of directors and scientific advisory boards for a number of anti-infective companies. |
